Goof day all.
I started with the hatha yoga routine about a week ago twice a day and the kundalini yoga ive been doing for 3 days now. I am now experiencing heavy upper back and neck pain. What could be the reason for this? Should I take it slower or stop until my back "recovers".
Hail Satan!

Yoga and back muscle pains
Taking for granted you're not physically over doing the exercises, pain is a sign that you need to work on those chakra's. Hatha and Kundalini yoga stimulate the areas around your chakra's. If they aren't open or are blocked it'll result in physical pain near those sites. Refer to the jos website for opening the chakras. I'm on my phone do can't post the link.

Goof day to you! :)
I'd take it slow. I got pain in lower back when starting yoga. I took ibuprofen for the first 2 days lol. It's gone now, but if I add things to my program I get aches and things. I believe it's just what happens when your soul and body is so decrepit and you start rebuilding it.

@hailodin666 - yes, muscle pain can be controlled by minor pain killers like ibuprofen, and can be a result of excessive exercises. But she was talking about electrifying pain, like she was being electrocuted. This is either a serious nerve disorder or some blocked chakras or both. On the other hand, let's hope for decrepit soul + body.
