Hello,
Pain and suffering can mean many things. We have control over what is within us, how we feel, and how and what we choose. External pain can be managed to a degree as well, but some events simply arrive beyond our control. What we can do is continue, continue living, holding on to hope, and loving ourselves and life. Courage for without it life has no direction.
