Not to mention that most people who call themselves reiki 'masters' are people who've done a two week course or less or maybe read one book. Being a 'master' requires no prerequisite time frame of meditation yet practitioners parade this title around like a medallion. I know a few of these people and I've asked them all this 'Can you levitate?'. They all have said no to which I respond 'well then your hardly a master are you?' Needless to say they don't much like that.
Reiki if it were taught from a Satanic perspective as Magnum has pointed out would prove quite effective and is basically spiritual healing.
