This is extremely ambitious, the Japanese also have another insane plan going on.

I hope they succeed as these megastructures will inspire humanity a lot. Nebuchadnezzar and Sargon would be proud to see what the Saudi Arabians are doing now.

My only worry would be maintenance here, and feasibility. I mean, that is a very difficult task to manifest this. Because of Saudi Arabia's morals in regards to work, many people are going to die working on this.

Meanwhile, Europe is busy telling us bullshit to go around just with scooters or some shit.

Very interesting indeed. Got me thinking. Weren't the saudi royals a bunch of yehuborim? It all looks very nice and all but what will it really be like when finished? I have a bad feeling about this, hope I'm wrong and it's just my paranoia. It's supposed to see people moving into the sections built and ready by 2030 and they already started construction. Would you like to live in such a city?

If this model is taken as the standard, it could be turned into something horrible.

Imagine those two strips of buildings, repeated 50-100-500 times, would manage to keep the entire population of a nation in one area.

Then that's always the idea, subtle communism, stacking people on top of each other, only unlike the tenement buildings, all the infrastructure will be stacked.

Imagine all this combined with a pandemic, the nation would be reduced to 100 square kilometers, and it will just be one big prison that you can't escape from.

I wouldn't be fooled by the beautiful presentation; it's the idea that counts.

I see what you mean, but won't this be many like town size wide between the otherwise "two sides"?

If people are facing one another in very close vicnity, and we add other insanity like AI into it, and spying, then it will be a very bad idea indeed.
