What about dragons?

I know this is a bit silly question but i have this HUGE obsession for dragons and as JOS says that the dragon is sacred to Lord Satan so they are real in some point of the universe? 
I have thought about this.. As dragons are very powerful magickal creatures is it possible that the enemy has been destroying them and turning them into myths? 
There are so many variations about dragons in completely different countries and all over the world - why would there be such stories if there wouldn't be some truth in it, right?
I ask this because my GD who has been with me my whole life from the day i was born says that he is dragon indeed - and also my guide and protector. Our bound is so strong that he feels like my soulmate and just a thought him leaving me is horrible and i burst into tears. He often appears in the human shape but can be a huge red dragon too, with these beautiful eyes. At some point i got an impression that he wanted to become my GD as i wanted to reborn here and he wanted to be with me but not to incarnate?
I met him early when i was just twelve or something. He has always been so so guiding and loving and i trust him, but our ways to talk to each other is often very bad. That is one of the reason why i want to empower myself to be able to sense demons.

I'v read that Dragons are allegories for the Kundalini serpent, one of the significance of the Dragons fire breath the Kundalini fire required for the Magnum opus or some sort.

Idk if they actually exist somewhere, but I DO know they are allegories of the Kundalini serpent. This has been mentioned a few times

Thank you all ^^ That was something i had heard. He says that the place he is from is very beautiful and i can see how much it means to him.
I know this is also silly but now i have a peace within the fact that he is on left hand side and my GD. He is so awesome and i love him with all my heart!
