To 'see' the Gods is very advanced and can take you a long time to do this, but you can begin to 'sense' the Gods and feel them when you perform their rituals and pray to them. Build the connections more and more and with time, listening and being able to visualize them will arrive to you.
Important advice is after you've activated your 3rd eye, continue to work on it on a daily basis by breathing energy into it during your meditations.

I will say this so your hope is not up too high and you dont fall to delusion.
Seeing the Gods is extremely rare, its not a matter of ability but worthiness, they will not reveal themselves unless they truly want to, your third eye opening will allow you to see yourself MUCH better though and through that you will see the parts of the Gods that live within you.
And once you see these things and learn how to grow them, that is when you will find yourself seeing the Gods in a very literal sense.
And to answer your question the Thaum/Thor mantra works very well.

Also try looking through your 3rd eye immediately after you work on it, even in complete darkness when you try looking through it you will see shapes some things moving
You will know it when you do it correctly
Dont stress over it, it will come in time
