Visualizing chakras and chakra spin

I should have asked this question long ago,wanna ask,Should I visualize chakras in the Spine or in the very center of my body? Or only the back extentions should be visualized in the spine? I need a detailed answer.
And about spinning chakras,should i spin them counter-clockwise or in both counter and clockwise? I have been spinning them counter-clockwise.
