So the other day after a meditation, my root chakra started bursting with energy all over the place for quite awhile, it was as nothing i have ever felt, but I was glad because I think that means advancement ^_^
Any ways, is this trapped energy or a blocked kundalini rising? Probably the same thing, hehe, but what do you think?

When I finally opened my base chakras I felt this surge of energy go through all my chakras and right out my crown.I don't think it was the serpent but only your chakras being completely open.When it happened to me I was in bliss for hours.

block energy can hurt, or hurt ur legs is usually a sign if does
working a on feet chakras and circulate energy around entire chakras
unblocking all chankras , by that way kundalini can rise
use vibrations and mantras helps a lot !
