Does anyone happen to know where to get a copy of the 16th century version of the Necronomicon? I could swear I read on the JOS website that Pythia told about one written in the 1500's, but I can't find that article to save my life! I looked at the files here, and the only one there is that "Simon" edition--which is known to be corrupted. I will not use that one in case of accidentally blaspheming Satan or demons, so if anyone can tell me where to locate the other one--would very much appreciate it--thanks! Hail Satan.

Everyone--use Don's link for the true Necronomicon, the one written in 1586 by Dr. John Dee, as the "Simon" one commercially available IS corrupted. My GD is a Babylonian God and his sigil in there is very different from the one in the 1586 book--I am glad I never used the "Simon" sigil. Other things are different too; I have only started to look, but there are magickal tables and things that do not appear in the "Simon" version---so beware. I guess it's okay to have a copy of the "Simon" Necronomicon--but I wouldn't ever USE it. Thanks again, Don....
