Yes treat it like a ritual. I never even use the word "summoning" with them
as it has a bit of a subservient connotation and with The Bes as with all
Daemons respect is everything. They will usually send One to contact you via
lucid dreaming, that is why a dream journal kept right at bedside is
important in working with The Bes. Write down any dreams that happen with
them in your journal right away and at first awakening. Keep your journal
secret and away from other people. They may also come right at that time
when you are on the edge of falling asleep, that place of consciousness
where you are not fully awake but not fully asleep and you know what is
happening around you still. They are wonderful, and if you are experiencing
them you are indeed VERY lucky and VERY much liked by Hells Army. To be
liked by The Bes is in my opinion the greatest gift we can ever recieve.
Sometimes I wonder at what I could have done to deserve their
friendship, and I am very happy and grateful for it. They like essential
oil of lemon and also essential oil of lavender, not the fragrance oils, not
the fake oils, the real essential oil of lavender and lemon that you find at
health food stores. Use a candle heated diffuser in a safe place on your
altar and where you can smell it as you drift off to sleep. Fill the bowl
with water, sprinkle in a generous amount of essential oil drops in the
water and then light the candle. A stone or ceramic diffuse is best. The
Flame is fire element, the diffuser is Earth, Water is represented as it
fills the bowl, and Air is represented as it keeps the flame alight and the
oil scent travels on air. Thus you have invoked Earth, Air, Fire, and Water
elemnets, all elements The Bes love and work with. As the scent fills the
room (at night, they love night) you think of them, filling your heart
chakra with love and good energy and direct your thoughts
towards the Bes. As they are shape shifters be open to how they appear,
assume nothing, be open to them. Softly chanting "Bes" like a whisper
untill you are only using your mind to shape and vibrate the name "Bes" in

The Bes is a collective and they are WONDERFUL. They like good insence,
essential oils in a water diffuser, a nice beverage offering etc. They
are
a group of bodyguards, water masters, teachers of martial arts and
tactics,
also shape shifters and changers. Their looks can be very decieving. I
would advise using a dream journal as they contact you a lot in dreams.
They
will let you know what they like. They have asked me in the past just to
post about them or write poems for them. I love those guys! They will
help
and protect you and if they choose you, you could not have a better group
of GD's than a whole collective!
