Ive been meditating officially for 42 days now and I do recall reading that repeating the breathimg exercise Sithali wpuld produce a sweet tongue.
This symptom is mentioned in the pink lotus yoga site sourced by JoS.
This however is not the case as it is detected by what I assume is my lower throat especially near the left and probably the beginning of my esophagus near the lung.
I had this strange phenomenon a few years ago likely when I was taking meditations seriously back then as I am now.
The feeling is not excessive or unbearable but it is certainly unsettling.
If its a part of natural POSITIVE changes to my biochemistry then Ill ignore it and let it pass like other concerning symptoms Im had in the beginmimg with mantras.
Ive searched google to no avail as it only makes claims for maliscious imbalances such as diabetes (my mothers side is known for diadbetes but my mother and I show neglegent signs if at all), or that sweet taste of the toungue means a sign of lung cancer.
Please help.
