Surya Namaskar / Bija Seed Mantra

AvatarSovereignPrince1 min to read

I am thinking of starting a morning surya namaskar routine this July 26 (Sunday Sun in Leo) based on the book Surya Namaskar Ten Point Way to Health.

In the book the Rajah of Aundh recommends after each sun salute vibrating a Bija mantra.

1. Om Hram

2. Om Hrim

3. Om Hrum

4. Om Hraim

5. Om Hraum

6. Om Hrah

Any benefits to this? Or are these corrupted mantras?

Saluting the sun is great but I'd recommend to combine this with either the runic, necronomicon or sanskrit words corresponding to each chakra, one at a time after one cycle starting at the base. Whichever you choose do not mix them.

Om should be AUM and the "bija" mantras are somewhat diluted.

Try it this way and assess the effectiveness and benefits yourself.

Cheers and have a good one

Absolutely if I use this for chakra health I will do Laum, Vaum, Raum, Yaum, Haum, Kshaum, Maum, and Thaum. (8) I believe the purpose of the Seed Mantras is to prevent and cure all sickness, to purify the blood, and yoke the yogi to the sun. I am not the best at understanding astral comms so I be way off and better off working on the chakras.

OM or AUM is fine, as well as HRAAM, HRIM, HRAUM, as they are part of the Sun Square mantra that The Temple of Zeus has. I haven't used the others but I don't feel apprehensive when looking at them.

This is the targeted reply.

I believe these seed mantras are suposed to yoke you to the sun, provide excellent health and are purifying. Do you have any insight on this? Or will I just have to try and see?

I cannot say because I have not tried those. However, I know that the Sun Square is more powerful and useful for this. It is HoO level power.

The Sun is moving into Leo soon. I will be using it.

Good mantras. I like surya namaskar, good for losing weight and gain flexibility. I like to do a lot of repetitions. Just try to do it before 8:30 am because the sun is stronger before that time.
