And additionally, they ruin your brain and your liver. This could make it more difficult to fix the damage done by the enemy, as well as making it harder to protect yourself. Remember, anyone that thinks they can fix the damage after taking drugs needs to realize that the damage is done. Yet, I do believe one has the freedom to take these substances, if they so choose, after fully deliberating the full consequences.
This goes as much, if not more so, for prescription drugs as for street drugs. Alcohol and weed are bad enough. But, things like Thorazine, Haldol, Prozac, Paxil, Welbutrin, Xanax, and similar drugs are as bad to worse. This is why psychiatry is so bad--using chemicals to do what spiritual meditation should be doing instead. And, unlike street drugs, once you "need" a psychiatric drug, you are not soon going to be allowed to decide you "unneed" it.
