Spiritual Twins?

Is it possible for a soul to split into two parts?
I ask this, because an old friend of mine and I just reconnected thanks to JoS.
And there are a LOT of uncanny similarities between his life and mine.
We both joined the marine corps one year apart, both did the same job, in the same place, both were diagnosed with bipolar disorder and medically seperated from the corps because of it, both found JoS in the same timeframe and dedicated within weeks of each other, I hung out with him for the first time since the 7th grade yesterday, and its even down to getting headaches at the same time. These are just a few examples, I just wanna know if i'm reading too much into this. Our personalities have some distinct superficial differences, but at our most basic levels, our thought patterns are identical.

Yes, this does happen. And it seems you are one.
It could also be that you two were brothers or somewhat strongly connected in all of your past lives, rather than having a split soul.
