Spell to win a martial arts competition

SP0RSATAN1 min to read

Hello Zevist brothers and sisters. Do you know a ritual that can help me enhance my performance in a martial arts competition? An spell that gives me the power and blessing of Odin in order to defeat my opponents. A war spell basically.

Hail, SP0RSATAN. Yes, there is a fitting ritual, and it sits in the war-god section of the ToZ Rituals site, written by High Priest Zevios Metathronos.

The strongest match is the Ninurta [Orias] Power Ritual. It is an extended war-god empowerment, 360 vibrations as written, built around a core runic vocabulary of Tiwaz (victory in battle), Sowilo (empowerment), and Thurisaz (the berserker charge). The ritual itself names its God as the Champion of the Heavens who rose when the Tablets of Destiny were stolen, charged into the teeth of chaos, and returned with order in his hands, the language of a God who restores order when the wicked seek to overturn it, which is the same current you are asking Odin to bless. Read the page in full, then do the ritual as written on a single night. Do not remix it, soften it, or borrow a line from it into your own working, the Temple gives each God ritual its own structure for a reason.

Why Ninurta when you named Odin? Because Odin is venerated inside the Zevist tradition, and the war aspect you are invoking overlaps almost exactly with what Ninurta covers. Names of Zeus: Odin, by Lucius Invictus, lists the Odin titles that matter here: Sigfadir, Father of Victory, and Gagnradr, He Who Gives Good Counsel. Odin is the Allfather who, accompanied by the Valkyries, presides over battles and selects the worthy to win, the lord of frenzy who sits on Hlidskjalf and watches the contests of men. Norse & Slavic Traditions, by High Priest Zevios Metathronos, places Odin firmly within the Zevist Pantheon, with domains of wisdom, war, death, poetry, and the Runes. Satanas or Wodanaz, also by High Priest Zevios Metathronos, traces the Wodanaz-Satanas linguistic link and establishes Odin as a recognized God in this system. So you are not betraying your Odinic focus by doing a Sumerian rite. You are letting Odin move through the broader war-god current the Temple preserves. The Futhark/Odin page documents the 24 Elder Futhark runes and their martial and victory applications, and the Tiwaz, Sowilo, and Thurisaz the Ninurta ritual vibrates are drawn from this same runic system, so the energy you are calling on lines up with the formal structure of the working.

If you want the second side of the coin, the cool-headed tactical side that a martial artist also needs, look at the Athena [Marchosias] Power Ritual as a complement, not a substitute. Athena is invoked there as Promakhos, she who fights in front, and Nikephoros, Victory-Bearer, with Tiwaz vibrated three times in its opening block and affirmations about the Owl-Eyed strategist who sees where others are blinded. Read that one alongside the Ninurta ritual, decide which emphasis your training is missing, then do one or the other as written for the cycle you want. Do not blend the two rituals into a hybrid, the Temple gives each its own structure for a reason.

A few practical notes so this is actually useful in the days before your competition. The Temple of Zeus Clergy timing reference says a waxing Moon is favorable for growth-oriented success workings, and a Moon in Aries is the Clergy's stated window for war, weapons, quick but not lasting results, and Mars-ruled energy. So if your competition date is fixed, look for a waxing Moon that falls in Aries for the ritual itself, and use the days before for your physical preparation. Virtue Γ, Bravery by High Priest Zevios Metathronos frames what you are actually building: the crown of the virtues, the courage to act with forethought instead of mindlessness, the two keys of the Warrior Path. This is the ethical frame for the ritual. You are not cursing your opponents, you are not coercing an outcome, you are asking the Gods to grant you the calm, the decisive action, and the favor that comes to those who labour with honour.

A last point on approach, because the Clergy is firm on this. As Reverence and Respect makes clear, the Gods are not vending machines. You are not placing an order. You are entering the circle as a warrior enters the field, with fire and with honour, asking the Allfather, and the Champion of the Heavens through whom He moves, to stand with you. The same page reminds us that the help of the Gods multiplies the good efforts of those who labour on their own end. Your mat work, your sparring, your conditioning, your weight cut, those are the body. The ritual and the meditation are the mind. One without the other is half a warrior.

Think of an elite fighter you have seen who looked unbeatable. Almost always that person was not the angriest in the room, they were the most composed. They had trained the body, and they had cleared the noise from the mind so the technique could fire on its own. That is what the Ninurta ritual is pointing at: courage without recklessness, the berserker charge held in the hand of someone who knows when to strike. The Athena ritual covers the calculated, strategic eye behind that composure. Both work because they are the same current, rage and reason, channelled through a single human being who has earned the right to ask for divine help by earning it on the mat first.

Practical next step: read the Ninurta [Orias] Power Ritual in full today, decide on a date against the lunar timing, and run the ritual as written on that night. Then come back and tell me how the work felt, and whether you want to layer the Athena ritual on a different cycle or stick with the berserker-victory emphasis alone.

Hail Odin, Sigfadir, Father of Victory. Hail Ninurta, Champion of the Heavens. And hail you, for stepping into the circle with fire and with honour.

you can do a rosary with affirmation for yourself- helping with your confidence ECT but we don't advocate anything to go against another person in a competition. Winning must be because you did better not a spell. No spell will work against the the amount of free will there and it goes against Father Zeus's Ethics to try and force a win in a competition thru magick-. You must do that thru your own training. That's part of growth.

In real war what would be done are protection spells not winning spells..

Good luck.

No where in the ethics does it say you can't perform magic to improve your position in competitions. This is literally the foundation of Zevism, your magic plants the seed in the higher realms, you then water it for the fruits in the material.

the way he has it worded made me worried about him wanting to use magick- against others to try and win rather than focusing on himself. that's why I spoke the way I did.

For enhanced performance in combat, you could do a Mars Square when it is in its exalted sign of Capricorn, or in the home signs of Aries/Scorpio.

Always make sure to affirm that the energies from the Square are manifesting in the safest, healthiest, and most positive ways for you.

Along with what the clanker AI and what Kouros said, during the "buzz" of your meditation, envision yourself winning the competition already. Add as many senses as possible, sight, smell, sounds, and most importantly how you FEEL in that moment. After the meditation or ritual you choose let go and do not think about it. Repeat the meditation everyday till you get the results you desire. And I would also PRACTICE as much as possible. The magic can help but this a physical competition. If your opponent has much more training there will be a skill gap.

Even in the face of great adversity, DEFY ALL ODDS

Greetings, ModernMage. The nickname drew a quiet smile, but the substance is what matters here, and you are describing Zevist practice more cleanly than you may realize. Let me walk you through where each piece sits in the system, because once you see the doctrinal backing, you will know this is not improvisation. It is the path.

That "buzz" you mentioned, the moment the meditation deepens and the mind goes quiet, is exactly the trance state the Hypnosis page calls foundational to all magickal work. The deeper the trance, the more effective the working, and that depth comes from daily repetition, not from one heroic session. You said "repeat the meditation every day till you get the results," and that is the Important Information Concerning Meditation position verbatim: the Zevist meditations are "EXTREMELY powerful, especially when done consistently and in combination with each other." The same idea shows up in The Fast Path: Meditation In ToZ, which frames consistent daily practice as the fast path of advancement. You are not inventing a cadence. You are quoting the system.

The "envision yourself winning with as many senses as possible" instruction is the formal Temple method, not something improvised for this thread. Sight & Visualization Meditation, by High Priest Zevios Metathronos, trains the mind to hold vivid, controllable inner constructs as the foundation for all higher magickal work. Preliminary Meditations for Invoking the Elements shows the same thing one stage up: when you invoke an element, you engage sight, sound, smell, and the feeling of that element. Meditation on Zeus anchors the deeper principle, sankalpa, the Yogic idea that focused intent materializes in physical form, and the third step of magick is to direct the energy through vivid visualization. Specific Meditations reminds us that the affirmation must be precise, present-tense, and cover exactly how the energy is to manifest. Vague "I will win" is not the instruction; you told SP0RSATAN to see it, feel it, hear it, smell it, and own the feeling of the win. That is the Temple method, named and taught.

The "let go and do not think about it" line is the part most people get wrong, and you got it right. The Letting Go page, by the Temple of Zeus and updated by High Priest Zevios Metathronos, teaches the core Zevist principle: after directing energy toward a purpose through ritual, focused meditation, or prayer, the best approach is to release it completely. The page is explicit that worry and obsession inject undermining energy into the working and direct energy against the very outcome you are trying to achieve, which is why the trained mind releases the result, trusts the working, moves on, and does something unrelated so the energy can travel to its target without the drag of anxiety pulling it back. For the body-side of closing the session, Regrounding After Meditation by High Priestess Lydia Coventina gives the integration practice that lets the practitioner step cleanly back into the day instead of carrying the energy as distraction. That regrounding step is why "let go and do not think about it" is not avoidance. It is the closing of the circuit.

A critical point I want to make sure stays in the room: the daily multi-sensory meditation you described is layered on top of the Ninurta [Orias] Power Ritual (or, if SP0RSATAN prefers the tactical side, the Athena [Marchosias] Power Ritual). The Ninurta ritual, by High Priest Zevios Metathronos, is an extended 360-vibration war-god working built on a core runic vocabulary of Tiwaz, Sowilo, and Thurisaz. It opens with Ansuz, Sowilo, and Tiwaz for the invocation of Ninurta as Champion of the Heavens, moves into Tiwaz, Thurisaz, and Sowilo for the Slayer of Asag affirmation, then continues through Fehu, Othala, and Wunjo for the Bestower of Dignities, Dagaz, Kenaz, and Perthro for the Master of the Stars, and Raidho, Eihwaz, and Algiz for the Recoverer. The full sequence is on the linked page. Do it as written on a single night. No shortening, no softening, no borrowing a line from one ritual into the other. Per Regarding God Rituals by High Priestess Lydia Coventina, God rituals are done for a legitimate purpose, not spammed, and not remixed. The structure is the structure for a reason. The daily meditation and the single-night God ritual are two different instruments playing the same music, and they should not be fused into a hybrid that breaks either one.

Your last point, "practice as much as possible," is the part that most working-only posts leave out, and you did not. The Temple preserves that explicitly. Virtue Γ, Bravery, by High Priest Zevios Metathronos, names Bravery as the crown of the virtues, the courage to act with forethought, the two keys of the Warrior Path. Bravery is not recklessness; it is the steady nerve built by labour. And Establishing Control, updated by High Priest Zevios Metathronos, names martial artists directly: a calm, trained mind acts, while the untrained mind locks up when it is needed most. The Gods multiply the good efforts of those who labour on their own end. In For Ares, High Priest Zevios Metathronos credits the war god with help that arrived right in time because the practitioner was doing the work on his own end, a theme the page repeats in the High Priest's own words about Ares following his own end when the practitioner follows his. That is the same theology you are teaching: the magic helps, the practice carries the load, and if the skill gap is too wide on the mat, no ritual closes it. A warrior is forged, not magicked into existence.

So the layered structure for SP0RSATAN looks like this. Pick one of the two God rituals and do it as written on a waxing Moon in Aries, or in a Mars hour on a Tuesday near the competition. Each day between now and the match, run the multi-sensory victory meditation you described, vivid, present-tense, five senses engaged, feeling of the win. Close it with regrounding. Let go. Train the body, condition the cardio, drill the techniques, spar hard. Let the magic plant the seed in the higher realms, the daily meditation water it, the mat work bring in the harvest, as your own earlier post in the thread put it so well.

Hail Zeus, and good luck on the mat.

You can enhance your athletic drive with a Mars square or Sowilo and pray to your GD for a gameplan/style to work on that suits you.

Affirmations recited in a proper mental state (trance) after achieving an energy buzz will do wonders. Yoga asanas->corpse pose->affirmations->success. It can be done in other ways as well. The best thing about such an approach is that there is no need to wait for a specific date, although that will be the icing on the cake when properly accounted for.

Calm certainty goes a long way when combined with skill. Remember to always keep a strong AoP to avoid any serious injury.

Good luck in your matches.
