Shocking jolts/Pins and needles again....

Recently I have been getting this feeling I can only describe as the common pins and needles feeling and a shocking electrical feeling. I've gotten those feelings occasionally, usually when i'm not meditating.(I actually can't recall having that feeling while meditating.) The first two times I've gotten those feelings where quite painful and the last few times, it wasn't as painful like before. I've established the fact that it was bio-electricity but from where? Was it my own? or Some other being's?

I know that feeling and I believe we generate it ourselves, even when not meditating sometimes. I've had it happen many, many times, often for "no reason" so to speak but I've also found (which may be a solely personal reaction; everyone is different) that I am instantly in a state of higher awareness and can sometimes feel my aura expanding. I'm sort of glad of it, taking the attitude, "Well, at least I know everything is still working" sort of thing.

As for it being uncomfortable, you'll probably get used to it and find it becomes increasingly less so over time where it is no longer painful but just another sensation.
