You need to do it every day. Two times a day preferably. Or more.
We are cursed as a whole so neglecting it can cause issues with everyone around us, and everyone else doesnt clean their aura so theyre basicly trashbins you constantly engage in.

Neglecting it is like inviting disaster into your life.
