Well, no, if you can breath normally. If you take deep breaths and feel pain at your chest, then just don't take too deep breaths.

I was born with an uneven rib cage due to genetics, my father had this and one time when i had bronchidus it started to settle into my chest so we had to get x-rays of my heart and i forget what side of the heart is supposed to be bigger but mine was the opposite and they said it was just so that my heart could fill in my chest cavity so will this have any affect on my meditations?

ill look it up later right now im trying something new to keep me on track with meditations, im using my love for note taking and combining it with a journal type thing i guess and im going to add to these notes as i advance. so i wont get off track i usually look ahead at the intermediate and advanced when i should be focusing on the now so i think this will help ^-^
