Satan and the Gods Are Our Teachers?

Very often I have read, both in messages here and on the jos website, that Satan and the gods are our teachers and guides in SS once we dedicate our powers. I have also read many times that Spiritual Satanists need no human mentors and masters, because the gods are our mentors and the greatest masters. This, then, is my question: why do so many people who claim they have dedicated to Satan and begun their path to enlightenment post messages here asking questions or seeking help? I can understand that this group is useful for those who have not yet dedicated and are learning as much as they can first, as it has been for me, but why do so many dedicated Satanists seek help from this group rather than getting help directly from the gods? And why do other dedicated Satanists willingly answer their questions rather than deferring to the gods?

Maybe those people aren't really advanced enough? Why don't you see HP's asking questions here?
I can say that i have much knowledge on Satanism and spirituality, but i'm not really advanced enough to talk to our Gods, even if i can sense their presence, my astral senses aren't opened enough. So, logically, i will ask here if i don't know something.

Yes, precisely. I am not advanced enough yet to receive answers from
the Master (Father Satan), or my guardian Daemon, Lord Andras.
Therefore, if I cannot find the answers on the JoS site, I will ask
here. Simply put, that is why. There are many people here who are not
yet psychically open enough to hear from our Gods. Oh, and just to
clarify, when I say "master", referring to Father Satan, I use it in
the Oriental sense; as in, Satan/Enki is the great teacher. You
probably already reealize this, but nonetheless I thought I would
clarify. ^ Hail Father Satan always! Hail Lord Andras!

Different deals. The Gods are good teatcher but not fountains of research and a guidence from more sperienced Brothers not mean that they are our masters. So, many times the Gods wants you to find by yourself, may it be by a simple reading or through asking your brothers in Satan.

Things which serves for everyone as power meditations are a kind of information made in public as the Gods are busy and it could spend much time if they teach it to ech one of us. And there are individual advices that the Gods give us personaly.

I believe there are more answers to your questions than you might imagine. A few:

1. The gods aren't always available.
2. People usually can't contact them right away, they need to develop astral hearing/sight.
3. Gods offer guidance, but other's peoples advices are good as well. We seek information from those who know more than ourselves. It's always been like this, and will probably always be.
4. We don't have masters, but human mentors (the High Priests, for example) are extremely helpful in whatever situation.
5. Every answer given in the groups spreads knowledge for all the members who care to read them.
6. The gods shouldn't be summoned for whatever reason, all the time.
7. Sometimes people just want to talk about their problems, they need other people who can relate and care about them.
8. Sharing thoughts, problems and answers tightens the community.

There are many others, but that should be enough.

It seems you question has been asnwered. But I will add this incase no one mentioned it.

What is said on the JoS site is that there are no MEDIATORS. This means there is no 'middle man' between Satan and His followers. This is the case in christianity with the pope, or earlier when the King acted as master of both country and faith. This person could easily say "God told me this or that" and they would have to believed in absolute without question.

This isn't the case in Satanism. We indavidually have the ablility to communicate and come close to Satan, there is no middle man playing a game of chinese whispers.

Thank you everyone who has answered. I understand, and your answers do make sense. The main reason I was wondering is that I have seen people on here several times asking to connect with a more advanced Satanist in their area, and almost every time someone will answer with, "You don't need a mentor. Satan and the gods are out teachers."
