satan and the 12 steps

id like to know some peoples experiences with using satan and demons as their higher power in a 12 step program. ive been clean almost 2 years and for the past 2 years i have been using my higher self and universal energy. i have decided over the last week to ask him, buer and my guardian demon to help me in my recovery

From what I read it is based in completely RHP and unSatanic principles, especially points 1, 2 and 7. We don't sit and expect Satan to do everything with no working on our parts and foremost we don't believe that we are completely powerless and needing an external entity to save us. It may work but it actually makes it worse for your self-esteem.

We do have lots of power and potential inside us, and the ability to become Gods. That's why we do power meditations, to unlock it. Satan does want to help us to awaken our powers and use them without needing to depend on Him, not to make us feel powerless and enslave us.

Here's an easy three-step program:

1)Put a yellow aura around you

2)Use an affirmation. For example "my aura removes my addiction in a positive way"

3)Repeat the affirmations and the working for 40 days or more. Best done when the moon is in Aquarius or waning.

This is actually from the JoS site. Remember, use your magick and your own powers for overcoming your obstacles before expecting other entities, even if Satan does help you.

Yes. Father will help you, but only if you first help yourself. Hell
helps those who help themselves, in other words.

A problem with chemical addiction is that the residues are still trapped deep in the tissues. The only way to overcomeis  to to cleanse the body totality. Which is what meditations do. So you are on the right track. Diet also helps.

I too used to be addicted to cocaine, and the first step telling me I was powerless over something was totally wrong. I told myself that I didn't want to do it anymore over and over and told all my friends the same thing, and it got to the point that I recently tried some, and I got violently ill. I was puking, and that has never happened before, and I realized that by telling myself over and over for so long had given me power over it. Just hang in ther, do your meditations and keep telling yourself that U have the power over it, not the rhp way of admitting defeat before the first battle.
