Beautiful stuff, can't wait to hear it and also what other people are gonna put up too . I hope that some of the songs I found up there are quality. What do you think of the Phantom lol. Absolute nutter, I wonder how many others over the centuries and so on made music like that back then that didn't make it onto the internet? Way more intense than even the majority of Black Metal imo, apart from some of it.

Lol, I get what you mean though Surf songs do sound dead similar to eachother sometimes lol, I love Miserlou though and also Agent Orange's punk cover of it. I think some Surf rock is just metal without distortion to be fair, and a lot of it is really heavy too. Some of my favourite music, but not including any of the Beach Boys type stuff (Maybe Barbara Ann tho lol)

The Kinks are the shit. I always remembered hearing them referred to as the “godfathers of punk”. It’s a shame that Van Halens cover of You Really Got me gets more airplay than the original. Not to mention the fact that Ray Davies fuckin hates VH for covering it.
