Regarding the serpent of fire

I don't ever recall going through this method of meditation, though I have been obsessed over power (though for reasons that aren't personally for my own benefits, but of feeling of necessity), but not too long ago, I have been seeing a burning flash of bright white light before I fall asleep situated in my third eye (and I'd get blinded momentarily even after I open my eyes, not even staring at the sun gives the same level of intensity), like how it described in the JoS page, but I do know that I have for quite a long time having issues with my third and fourth chakra, so I don't understand how the bright flash of light occured? seeing as it requires the unobstruction of the chakras
