I'm sorry, but I must, with respect, disagree. I am no God! Not yet,
anyways. Once I reach the Godhood/Magnum Opus, yes then, I will be a
God. But NOT before! We all have the *potential* to become Gods. At
least in my book, I define a "God" as an immortal, quasi-omniscient
being. That is most definitely not any of us! Lol. I just cannot, in
good conscience, actually claim that I am a God when I am not. If I
were a true God, I could very easily fix my dad's diabetes, cure my
mom's alcoholic tenencies. All of this I can probably do now, with
meditations, but if I were a God, it'd take me way less time. ^ Not
telling you how to think, but this is my ownpersonal take on the
matter. We all of us have the potential to become Gods, yes the DNA
from Father is there, but I'm sorry, at least in my lexicon, that does
not make us Gods automatically. We must work for it, attain the Magnum
Opus! Then and only then, will we be Gods.

Those who wish to be called gods should have a least a minimum amount of power and wisdom to even hold that title.

We are not gods. By definition a god is immortal.

What does a mortal man gain from claiming he is a god? Nothing.

I consider it to be a maladaptive way to boost the self-esteem/self-confidence.

Focusing on reality and acknowledge the truth allows one to survive in reality. If a man goes around thinking he's a god, jumping off buildings and what not, reality will soon educate him on the matter.

It's insane to place emotions above reality. Emotions are a guide to understanding your own judgement (both conscious and subconscious) about reality, not understanding outer reality itself. Simply because you feel you are a god, doesn't mean you are. You've simply made the intellectual judgment that you are (and now feel the corresponding emotion's: joy, self-worth, pride, etc), that judgement is wrong.

Now there are degrees of evidence: possible, probable and certain. You'd want to first base your actions on what you know for certain, what you have absolute concrete evidence for that you have gained from integrating information from the senses, then you'd go with probable, then possible.
