On the other hand, it could also be your mind just bringing up these because you may have been focusing on them by reading, studying etc. while you are awake.

A few days ago I had a dream. It was a nightmare. I was a Christian again ( I had been one prior but then an atheist for three years). It was awful. One day my dad had found “Satan“ he told me to kill him to torture him anyway necessary. Remembering, in my dream I felt very uncomfortable. But the more I kept beating this strange man that was supposedly Satan, The more enraged I got and I wanted to kill this man. I want to torture him. I wanted him dead. Then I soon jerked awake. So my dad at my door he said come on we must kill the pegans! (My dad does not know I’m apart of JOS) then I jerked awake again. It was a dream in a dream. Was this a sign? What’s this a sign from Satan showing me how awful Christians are? Was this an attack from the enemy? Or was this just a dream? I also have a very distant memory of a voice saying we will start communicating with you through dreams.
