You shouldn't give out your real name publicly (simply for safety) if it's a nickname it's better. Anyway you can already do your dedication in your astral temple (in your mind) if it seemsthat you won't be able to do for real. But since you already have the material I suppose you could do it for real anyway.
Are there always people at home ? They never go out to do something like work, shop or hobbies ? ^^
You may consider doing your dedication somewhere else or outside if it's suitable for you.

Meditation is simply focusing your mind on something instead of thinking about random things.
Have you tried void meditation already ? This is when you empty your mind of thoughts and focus on the "present" and your surroundings.

Hi! I'm new
to Satanism and I'm very excited to dedicate myself to
our Father, but there are a lot of things I'm having
problems/insecurities with. For one example, I'm not
sure how to properly meditate and since I want to meditate
until my candle burns out when I'll be dedicating myself
(I have purchased the black candle and everything is ready
but my parents and/or brother is always home), I won't
