Just wondering is it counter productive to do a awakening ritual during a waning moon? should I only do awakening rituals during the waxing phases?  Should I avoid doing white magic rituals during moon in Capricorn and other black magic signs?
and on JOS it says: New Moon- White,Full Moon- Red or green,Waning Moon- Black... what's the candle color to use during a waxing moon? 
I'm going to do <font>this ritual tonight even though the moon is in cap. if it doesn't work because of that..at least it's good practice.

Capricorn isn't necessarily bad its representative of discipline and the positive traits of the Base Chakra, unlike a Saturn transit which rules capricorn but can have negative effects.  Waxing seeing as its growing can be Orange or Golden corresponding to Enthusiasm, Energy, Over all Birth of new Power etc just like the Sun, and Mars which both rule over action and creativity as do the Corresponding chakras Sacral and Solar. So Waxing to Full moon would be best for growth in this case the growth of knowledge.  Be sure to check Lunarium site for void of course as this is a time for rest and or stagnation, thus canceling out most of your output.  Waning moon is for ending things, you could revise your magic to ending Ignorance and enemy programming as Maxine has been doing with the bible verses.

OK thanks for all the info I made sure it wasn't a void moon. Did the ritual I believe it went well I'll make sure to alter them based on the phase next time.
