Question on portryal of satan

I have been overly religious for quite some time now, activating chakras, gaining third sight, doing magick etc. I still not cannot figure it out... I feel haunted by something so dark and evil but everytime I have had psychic vision of the pentagram it was painted so beautiful and in glowing white light on my eye lids. Also the chakra techniques on the websight have freed me time and time again and his energy feels nothing like what haunts me. Is this the thing that holds me back from gaining spiritual power or knowlege?
