on performing the ritual, i know it says to sign your name in blood, but can i use a shortened version of my name as opposed to my birth name? for instance my birth name is jonathan laird marsh but everyone including my parents call me jon marsh now, including me. can i use this name for the dedication ritual? im afraid satan or the demons might confuse someone else for me because of this. now that im writing about it though and thinking about it, it sounds pretty stupid and ridiculous to think that satan would confuse such an insignificant detail such as a varied name, plus i am still the one performing the ritual....so whats to confuse?

You only need a drop of your blood on the ritual prayer paper. Its fine. It isn't necessary to write your full name in blood. Good Luck!
Hail Satan

That was pretty stupid. Posting your real full legal name to the Joy of Satan groups like that. This sort of information should remain Private. Never tell anyone your real name or personal information like that on the internet.
This is for a good reason.... Your personal safety.
