Workings Question about crystals cleaning/charging.

Hello, I've read the thread on crystals that "{...} Not every crystal though can be put in water or direct sunlight {...}" (). So which one can't be cleansed/charged with water/sunlight?

You have to look properties of minerals/crystals on an individual basis. For example, crystals softer than ~4.0 on The Mohs Hardness Scale will melt under running water. And some crystals will lose their properties when too long in direct sunlight. I recommend reading "The Crystal Bible" books (there are 3 in total) by Judy Hall and using a web search for more information. It's all out there.

This is not about proper absorption of energy, but rather about physical properties.

Many crystals will lose their color and undergo chemical changes that will affect their purity (and thus, ability to conduct, store or otherwise affect energy) if left in the sun or in water.
There are minerals that dissolve or lose their form in water, which is also problematic.
Worst case scenario, malachite, for example, becomes toxic when exposed to water.
