Question #5397: bad and good

If a Satanist was pregnant and at the time of birth she discovered that it was a child with a disability or an illness or problem that would affect their lives... could she be given up for adoption?
Or would this be a "bad" thing to do? (it's not about me, this thought only came into my head after I saw a mother taking care of extremely disabled children, living for them )

I don't like this, this sounds like abandonment to me.

A Satanist would do the best job of taking care of the child. Because you could work with the Gods, and do spiritual workings to heal the child. It would be wrong to give the child to somebody else who would not be able to do as good of a job.

Surely abortion would be the correct choice in such a circumstance, abandoning a child is wrong especially if the child is sickly, but if the child is not even born yet then why make them suffer? We are not Xians sensible abortion and birth control policies are in line with our principles.

Not all severe diseases are detectable or able to be scanned correctly in utero. Other things can happen, rarely women can also have zero idea they are pregnant, for instance. Some other women frankly do not want to abort ever.
