The matrix is one of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time. For people who understands the philosophy behind it, the matrix serves as a wake up call. A look into the kind of dystopian world. We might be living in. The movie challenges our understanding of what is real and what is not. It challenges out perception of time and space and everything around us.

You should watch the entire Trilogy.....there's more to the lore than the just the cliche conspiracy memes that come from those who've only watched the first movie. The 2nd and 3rd movies expose controlled opposition, to which many "conspiracy theory groups" today are part of.
