Question #3601: Questions about the New Year

There are at least three "New Years" in every year: Satanic New Year, Pagan New Year, and Calendar New Year.

Questions:

1. Why do we celebrate New Year three times a year? It was like the sun rising three times in one day, and I had to span three years in one year. I have trouble understanding this. I think I should choose one of these three New Years. But then I saw that most people were celebrating the New Year recently, and I wondered if I was wrong.

2. Are Calendar New Years bad for other New Years?

Satanic New Year gets less attention than January 1st. On January 1st, people all over the world are celebrating, but few will remember and celebrate Satanic New Year. The Calendar New Year is a distraction and diminishes the importance of the Satanic New Year, at least in my opinion.

The pagan New Year faced the same problem. The Year of the Dragon should begin with the Spring Festival, not January 1. Setting off fireworks and firecrackers is also a custom of the Spring Festival, which is now on January 1st. More and more people do not recognize the pagan New Year, but believe that January 1 is the beginning of the year. For me, January 1st is just the first in the first line of the calendar. I admit that this day is special, but I don't think it deserves so much attention. Maybe I'm wrong? That's why I posted this question, and I wanted to know if I was wrong.

3. Besides, I've always been confused about the meaning of festivals. A crowd gathered in the square to do the same thing. Being forced to act like everyone else. What is the significance of these activities? Is it to feel happy? Or is this some kind of group ritual? What I want to know more is, if I don't follow the customs of some important pagan festivals, will I be hated? Will I be blamed? Sometimes I just want to be alone and not participate in activities.

These questions have bothered me lately. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my questions.

Wherever did you read that we celebrate 3 new years? Have you heard a Zevism say "happy new year" 3 times in a year? If not, where did you assume that from?

FYI the JoS states that certain dates used to be New Year in ancient times, but it never said that we should celebrate them as the beginning of the year. Maybe that's how you got it mixed up.

You can do that and stay alone, the festivals are not mandatory. They are just times for celebration and having fun. You can't just reason and overanalyze them, because these holidays are for doing the exact opposite: letting go of everyday worries and having fun and doing fun activities and celebrating.

You must be Gear88, by the way, because this is the only one person who overcomplicates, confuses and overthinks very simple things like that. Tip: some things are best if you just let go, have fun and feel them instead of overanalyzing them. Maybe that's why you find it hard to meditate and enter in a trance, Gear88.

Nah bro, if you don't see "sheer fact" and random things thrown in one place, it's not him
