In my area on Wednesday the 15th of November, the moon is in Sagittarius, but Mercury is also in Sagittarius which is a detrimental sign for Mercury. Can I still start a friendship working on this date if I start the working during the hour of Venus?

Aquarius Moon is better for friendship, as Aquarius literally rules friendship. Mercury only rules shallow acquaintanceships which I call "being playmates". Nothing to do with true friendships which require loyalty, commitment, shared views, mental and emotional intimacy among other things.

Sagittarius it's a good sign but be careful to ground its energies as the changes may not stick otherwise. This sign is, after all, mutable.
