Question #2995: Fighting hypertnia

You need to maintain your body weight, limit your consumption of table salt, avoid smoking and drinking alcohol. Limit your intake of animal fats, eat more vegetables, fruits (rich in potassium) and fishes.

Meditate. Look for what TCM advises for this specifically. There might be good acupoints, herbs for this.
There are also calming mudras.

Do a calming mudra, with a 6-6-6 breathing, and a void meditation, or trance practice.

the 6-6-6 breathing is breath in for 6 counts, keep it in for 6 counts, and exhale for 6 counts.

You can find mudras online.

Here are some suggestions that might help manage and lower high blood pressure:

Focus on a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Limit salt intake, processed foods, and saturated fats. Engage in regular physical activity. This can include walking, jogging, swimming, or any exercise routine you enjoy. Aim for at least 30 minutes most days of the week. If you're overweight, losing even a small amount of weight can significantly help in lowering blood pressure. Practice stress-reducing techniques like meditation, deep breathing exercises, yoga, or even hobbies that relax you. Of course, reducing alcohol consumption and quitting smoking can positively impact blood pressure (I'm not saying you are smoking, but I mention it for the sake of it).
