I come to visit my aunt every weekend, she lives in a small town and isolated from the city, literally in the middle of nowhere, and she has several kittens that live outdoors, they have access to the street and the woods, these kittens usually always come to talk to me, they like to stay close to me, but the problem is that all the kittens that I cared for died run over my aunt is poor and has no money to build a wall that prohibits cats from having access to the street, why does every cat that I care for die? There have been 3 dead cats, I feel guilty and the cats keep wanting to interact with me, I'm trying to avoid it. We thought the biggest danger was the foxes and owls, but it's the cars that are killing the cats, it's an isolated place so people drive at high speed and don't notice the animals

Keep them inside the house.

Your aunt should keep these cats at home. She should provide them with rich stimulation - a variety of games, places to scratch and climb. She can also make places by the windows where the cats can look outside and observe their surroundings. Also, cats that are not neutered may want to go outside more to look for a mate. Sterilization can help reduce going outside.

Why not take it upon yourself to build some little houses for them? It would be a fun project and you'll be giving back to the earthly animals of this world specifically ones so sacred to our Gods and our ancestors.

If you visit these cats a lot maybe it would be a good idea to build a fence around them and bring them food and water. Making a community for them and posting signs about them to alert the people around.

Cats are very beneficial to areas where humans live since they can clean the area of pest and this argument even be used for your local government to put up road signs for them so drivers can be alert of them. Accidents still happen but that would help regardless.

Sadly if your situation is the worse case scenario where you have no chance of taking care of them then you have to accept nature for what it is. These things happen all the time where animals can just die out of nowhere out in the wild.

That being sad you can do a short working for these cats and build an AoP for them if they mean that much to you.

Instead of venting and complaining about these situations one should ask themselves if there is anything one can do first themselves to help out those in need. It's only fair to first evaluate and if the possibilities are there and are logical to do (like one has more than enough time and energy to do these, if not then leave it be) then one has the right to complain about the situation.

The above goes in general and not towards you specifically as I do not know the whole situation.
