Sorry if my question sounds stupid, but I really don't understand how donations work.
Let's take an example: if I have the opportunity to donate once a month (unfortunately I get little in salary), every time I donate, I have to send proof to jos.donation... Is this true?

Or can I send proof of donation even 3 or 4 months later, showing the history of every single donation made every single month? This is so as not to clog the jos.donation inbox too much.

You need to show proof so you can't claim some random donation on the blockchain as your own months down the line. That said, when you send the proof is up to you.

You do not have to send proof of anything. It is absolutely up to you to decide. But the fact is that you are not able to receive donation tiers without proof of donation. Unless the case in question is something extraordinary and gets dealt though astral. But for most people, yes, emails are used.
