Question #1164: Pluto Retrograde aspecting Natal Planets

What does it mean when Pluto Retrograde is aspecting other planets? Unfortunately my natal pluto is retrograde but that isnt what worries me the most. I was worrying about the planets that my pluto is aspecting like Squaring my Natal Venus and also in a trine with my Sun. Are these planets negatively affected by this? Can anyone give me a full explanation on what do do about this? thanks.

The affairs of the Houses with the cusps in Leo, Taurus and Libra will sustain major changes and, being retrograde, Pluto can likely cause negative changes.
The Square with Venus means that a love obsession is behind the corner. The tighter the orb, the more is likely to happen.
The Trine with the Sun can brings problems with the father (not as much as hard aspects), a change of your "ego" or an obsession with power.

Keep your energies high, increase your meditation routine, clean your Soul a lot, spend more time on Yoga. These will help you offset the negative influences of these transits.

When a planet is retrograde it causes delays and similar where it is placed in the chart / houses (proper explanation is on azazels astrology).
As for the aspects between pluto and the other planets.. the description of the aspects are on the page from the other planets at the bottom and not on the pluto page. That is, if youre not using jos-astro.com

Your sun is probably fine, since the sun (and moon) can never be retrograde.

But what you can do about the delays is a working too remove them. Even if you keep it very simple like "everything regarding xyz goes smooth and quickly in life" or "xyz is no longer experiencing hindrances from ..." or "all obstacles regarding xyz are completely and permanently removed" or ... just make up your own affirmation.
You can use runes or muñka.

Aspects from Pluto don't always have to be bad, but Pluto does increase the intensity of the traits of the other planet that it aspects. Since it is respecting your sun, it could give you a stronger personality and will for example, with the energies of your sun being blended basically with a hint of Scorpio-like traits. The same goes for your Venus in love affairs. Especially if this aspect is a loose orb, this can just manifest as an intense depth of feeling as well as an all-or-nothing attitude for love relationships with a sense of deep devotion. Pluto, however, is also the planet of estrangement and separation, and aspects to Venus can give you hang-ups about love or make you feel distant from the opposite sex in general. If this is the case doing a Venus square can help you feel more connected. Pluto harshly aspecting the sun can suggest either a very domineering or close relationship with the father, but can also indicate estrangement of some kind. Pluto can amplify the traits of a certain planetary placement like Jupiter, but in a sorta different way that makes it more intense. It can draw out certain affairs of a placement to become an obsession for example.
