Proper Timing For Planetary Squares

Is it okay to start planetary squares on a date other than that planet's own day if that date is astrologically appropriate? For example, to start the mercury square, should we start on Wednesday, that is on the day of mercury, or is it appropriate to start on a date such as Sunday, January 22?

All Planetary Squares must be started on their respective days. Starting on the correct hour is important, too.

If you want to start a Mercury Square, Wednesday 15th February 2023 is ideal. As Mercury is Exalted in Aquarius on this day.
It is always preferable to wait if you're able to. In order to manifest a better result.
