parents prayer(and satanic prayer)

i was christian, so i prayed like most christians, is that how i should pray to satan? my family(and girlfriends family) prays for us. this, as you probably know, is bad and has caused confusion about our satanic beliefes. the confusion later blew off. but how can we get it to stop with out hurting them(they are family)?
