Open JoS Newsletter for public?

satanicninja1 min to read

I've been without a Yahoo account for 2-3 weeks now and I'm proposing (to the clergy) to have the JOS Newsletter group open to view for those not subscribed  so people without an account can keep updated. What's your thoughts on this? Is there a specific reason that it's not open?

It's a hassle to get virtual phone number to verify a new account, the free ones I tried was not accepted, and it's hard to get prepaid cards for cash in retail stores (in the country I live in) and if you are to buy prepaid cards online or create a virtual account you'll have to give up your PayPal or Credit Card number etc.

It feels great to be back. I got my old account to work again which is nice!

You can use another email to sign up. Try protonmail they are private and they don't ask for your number.

I signed in with email verification. Just use some temporary mail service as your "old email". Any will do, I used this one: 10minutemail.com

There is no need for that. You can subscribe to Yahoo groups with accounts other than Yahoo, including encrypted accounts like Tutanota and Protonmail that do not need for you to input sensitive data upon registration.
