Remember the old saying “Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket”? This goes for e-mail. I strongly encourage everyone to use different e-mail accounts and *NEVER* to use the account they post with to the groups for confidential business or for any other personal use. I suggest having several accounts for different things. Just always remember the passwords. Given the problems in these groups and this can extend to other e-groups as well, it is very unwise to use your personal e-mail account for *anything* related to group correspondence. Your personal e-mail account(s) should only be known to you, not to any of the groups or even to group members; corresponding one on one. If you are hacked with your group account, the damage will be a lot less than if you have all kinds of personal information e-mails therein.
