On the hunt for a Delphic Tripod:

That Delphic tripod is so beautiful :love: I feel like the Oracle of Delphi probably used them to burn sacred incense during Rituals, like Frankincense. Also maybe just fire, as fire was considered to be a sacred purifier. Affirmations can be written on parchment and then thrown into the flames to release the energy. Alchemically speaking, the tripod also symbolised the Chakras, and especially the Solar Plexus Chakra, wherein energy is purified to empower the Soul. Similar to the Celtic symbolism of Ceridwens Cauldron where the potion of divine knowledge and resurrection was brewed. Then any physical manifestation of this could have been used during Ritual to represent the alchemical symbolism.

I like you idea of creating your own one. If you use wood, just be sure to treat it after the pyrography so it doesn't rot, and with something not flammable :). It could look really beautiful with the symbols carved into it. Also consider stone bowls. They can look really beautiful.

I know it's not insanely expensive, but for the average person, $600 compared to the other one I shared that is more plain and not as unique being $100, the difference in price is all I was pointing out. I agree with what you said about the nicer $600 one being an heirloom of sorts, and passing it down the family line. That would be ideal, since it would then become an investment of sorts, you know? I literally fell in love with the Delphic one, because of the etchings into the metal and the imagery on it is stunning as well. It's definitely going on my wish list as something I plan to save up for and get in the future 🤗

I didn't even think of using a stone bowl! I've seen bowls made from crystal or rock, and they are gorgeous! I wonder if I could find a crystal one that could withstand heat? I'll have to look into how much heat certain crystals can take, but it would be awesome to get like, an obsidian bowl and use it for burning offerings and also for scrying :love:
Yeah, I agree about using a wood base and customizing it would look really good! And it would match with the wood log seating I plan to make to surround the Star of Astaroth firepit. I can't wait for you guys to see it all once I get it all finished 🤗

Answer this, do you think the Gods would feel more honored by you buying this $600 dollar ritual implement or by donating that amount to the JoS, now of course its your money and without a doubt your spending it to honor the the Gods either way but...practicality is always well practical.

If you have already bought it no big deal but I would suggest instead consider donating instead dosen't have to be that amount or investing that money into a savings account some really good interest rates right now, and honestly I like the iron stand idea it seems practical and affordable, to me the etsy purchase does seem like a somewhat excessive spend but of course its your money, so long as your happy with the purchase thats what matters most.

I actually just became a donor the other day, Brother! I plan to continue to show my devotion by donating as well.
As far as the delphic tripod, I think this would be something I would save up for, if I was to buy it. I'm leaning more towards using a log base and carving the semi-sphere out of it, and just buying a metal or stone bowl to fit to the top of it, as something made with my own two hands is a more devotional act, than to simply buy something and use it devotionally.
