As I just stood outside, staring up at the stars and admiring the night sky, I began to ponder how I would deal with the numerous challenges I encounter in my path to Satan, Truth and Immortality.

For just a fleeting second, I almost felt the slightest bit of worry. But right then, Bes, my Guardian Demon and friend reminded me how fortunate I am to experience such troubles.

Who is it that risks his life, as much as the soldier fighting the war? Who is it that burns their hand in the kitchen as much as the one preparing the meal? Who is it that stays up with a sick child, but that parent fortunate enough to have a family?

Maybe I'm just meaning to express my gratitude to Bes for the reminder and maybe I'm sharing this for someone else too. But these problems we face in our path, especially when we are new, are because we are fortunate enough to even be here.

I'm grateful for every challenge and difficulty I face now. I do not want the easy life. It could be worse and still be worth it.

Thank you, Bes, for the reminder.
Thank you Satan, our true Father.
