On affirmations, the other kind

Hey guys I have some question on I guess what you would describe as "counter-affirmation".

For example I have the habit of telling people "I'm busy", not that I'm busy but not wanting to do things. Now the opposite of it is "I'm available". So basically you repeat the opposite of the affirmation. Or for example my go to when I feel bad and start being self-destructive ex: I'm always pist, everything pisses me off."

I wish to counter these things and change myself.

Since affirmations are very important "You are what you think", " Thoughts = energy = manifestation".

1) How often and how much do you go after the counter-affirmations? Whats the amount of time and times you should spend throughout the day changing yourself?

I've been wanting to change myself for a while now. And I'm wondering some of these things. I've known about this ever since I got the internet but I never really used it much in my life.

2) These "counter-affirmations" done with positive clauses or can it just be said?

It reminds me of certain (magic) affirmations from people who do not put a positive clause. And it makes me wonder if everything requires a safe, healthy, happy, and positive way/ways for me. Or are some things simply not needed for positive clauses despite possibilities of encountering negative feedback.

3) Is it one of those "negative" scenarios that while it doesn't ruin your life it pushes you out of the comfort zone?

These kinds of thoughts only have merit if you really believe them and intend for them to be true in some way. If I say I can't see something I don't intend or believe that I'm actually blind. Thoughts can go out into the astral as powerless entities where they dissipate into nothing and don't actually charge or empower a manifestation.

What prompts these thoughts though is one's entire attitude. Forcefully changing your thoughts with vacant mannerism isn't going to ultimately change the entire underlying character that brings them forth. Outlook, perception and personal bias are certain things to be altered, not necessarily the thoughts themselves.

You don't have to watch everything you think like a hawk but you can observe how they manifest from yourself to see if there's something about your general personality and perception of things that might need changing for the better.
