need some incite

I was doing the Direkting Energy Meditation exercise.. after i did it an im just laying there feelin the energy all around me.. i decided to inhale in some energy an i direkted it to my base chakra.. i felt a minor shock kinda sensation at my tailbone.. i then pushd the energy up through my solar plex.. heart chakra.. throat.. third eye an i pushd it out thru my krown chakra.. though i felt the energy pass through my chakras.. i truelyy felt my base chakra.. im not sure what happend.. kan i please have some incite on what i may have done.. ever since that meditation i kan feel energy around me an from other people with meditating..
