When aligning the CROWN chakra, do I visualize it penetrating the top of my head? Or do I just visualize it as a pyramid on top of my head and the tip of it TOUCHING the top of my head?( without being inserted inside the top of my head)

please visualize from the top of your head and then go within when trying to obtain the top head chakra......
from there you can illuminate further what you are seeking....this is my opinion...

What if I'm doing the chakra spinning meditation....do I still visualize it spinning inside of my head?

Yeah, the Crown chakra is always inside your head no matter the meditation you do. If you visualize it spinning, then it's spinning inside your head.
