Names of our Gods and Goddesses

For 2 years I still don't understand why the names of the Gods and Goddesses represent planets and chakras at the same time. Please help. Of course I think about the reasons for this, but I couldn't make it clear in my head. For example, when talking about bright Shamash, it is certain that the sun is mentioned, but you also say that our God Azazel is mentioned. How can Venus the planet, be at the same time our Goddess Astarte? Among the people I met on the internet in my country, there are those who turn to atheism instead of Spiritual Satanism because they were decided when those names were not our Gods but planets. That's why I think it's very important to clarify this issue.

What happens is that those people think of things too literally.

The name of our Gods and Goddesses are titles that were given by ancient priesthood in mythology. These titles were chosen because they resonate well with their energies. In mythology, events and characters are allegories of important spiritual processes and events, not historical events. This was also explained in a sermon which title eludes me.

As such, names become codewords for planets and chakra, and only the initiate understands what is actually involved there through their experience in meditation and other limbs of yoga. Those people turn to atheism just because they are more ignorant than a sheep and their minds are too full of sawdusts to understand what is going on, and that it doesn't have to match their expectations, as their expectations come from centuries of brainwashing, not reality.

These names/titles then become understood in practical instructions as: "This Goddess rules this planet", "This planet rules this chakra", etc.

The confusion is merely due to ignorance. When the light of truth comes in, ignorance is dispelled. Try using the Kaun rune, which is associated to Astarte, by the way. If you apply yourself to a consistent meditation programme, things will become more clear to you as the spiritual light will fill your soul and vanquish the darkness.

The words for the planets actually came from the Gods who are real beings, and not the other way. It's obvious with the planets and moons that hadn't been discovered in ancient times. Neptune for example was recently discovered, less than 2 centuries ago. Because its energies are watery, astronomers gave him that name of the Roman God that rules the waters. So, first came the God and then the planet. In ancient times there wasn't any distinction between astrology and astronomy because their science wasn't materialistic, so the Gods, the planets and observation were all connected. Their names also represented specific vibrations that connected the Gods and the planets. But it doesn't mean they are the planets. Venus was the name for the Goddess of love, but since the planet emits the same type of energies, it was given the name of the Goddess in honor of her. The same with the sun. Shamash was the Babylonian alias of Azazel, but since the sun emits the radiant energies as Azazel, it was given the same name as the God. The same in other languages with other sun-gods.

There is the chakra-planet connection based on the Hermetic principle "As above, so below" too, so the names of the Gods also are connected to the chakras.

As about the atheists, who cares what they think? Those who are so materialistically minded that they can't get the esoteric meaning of all this will not be suitable for SS anyway.
