Attacker blames Rapture

An American man charged with sexually assaulting and kidnapping a
woman as she pushed her child in a pram said he was worried about the
Rapture.
Ray Allen Martin, 28, allegedly followed the woman before attacking her.
Police said he tried to get the woman to perform a sex act on him. She
screamed "no" and yelled for her child until a witness intervened.
Mr Martin allegedly said that he was afraid of the Rapture, the end of
the world, and wanted his victim "to feel (his) fear too".
Police said he continued to talk about the Rapture after his arrest
and that he was sorry.
