hey kevin are you new? more than likely you are. well at first it is hard to meditate as our bodies are justing to it, practice breathing exercises to calm your mind and whats really relaxing is orgasm. dont get frustrated and give up! be patient with yourself and really practice void meditation.

<td val[/IMG]Good advice!And what helps me during void,is to try to breath in and out as slow as I can,while still counting to six.Six seconds in,hold for six seconds,then exhale for six seconds.This helps me a lot to go deep into void meditation.Good Luck Kevin!!!!!!!
All this takes much time and effort.But it does get easier the more you do it.

Exactly, I recommend practicing breathing exercises for some time to purify your mind and then going to other power meditations like Shannon said. Best one is the alternate nostril breathing, it also balances the 2 nadis. Try to concentrate on your breathing when doing these exercises. Another good thing you can practice is vibrating mantras and again try to be concentrated in the mantra and the sound you make, it also prepares your mind for meditation and makes it easier to clean your mind. Focusing on a mantra or your breath completely is void meditation by itself actually.
