Merging Astral Consciousness

Hello, I am attempting to merge consciousness with my cat. I can do it with an object and plants no problem, but am having some difficulty with him. I think it's been about 6 attempts, 3 while he was sleeping (thought it might be easier) and 3 while he's awake. Does anyone have any advice? I can't ask my GD as I'm not able to communicate with him/her yet.

Thank you! I've been able to successfully merge with other animals since I posted my question. I have also received an email saying that cats don't really like to be merged with, so I might just leave him alone, if this is true.

Keep practicing while he's sleeping. It is easier then and it could take you ten more tries before you get it. Meditating on your astral senses will really help.
